[Review] Tree of Life (Online)

I always like a build and craft games, with cute graphics. Tree of life is one of them.

Tree of life is a paid online game, like rust. But more user-friendly. In rust, you can get killed 1 minute when you join the server. In Tree of Life, the one that can kill you is only people from other faction. So, that's why I chose my camp to be far away from them.

But wait... The in app purchase really help us to level up fast.

When you enter the game. You can choose between male and female *thank God*

And like always... I'm choosing a female....

At first, I feel like I can do it okay by myself. Leveling up is easy and building a base is easy... But after I got my carpentry to lvl 20. It all became hard.... It's so hard to play by yourself, because you have so much to do, and the day light is so fast.

I have to cut the trees, plant it, kill the wolves, farming, making weapons and armors, find a copper vein and make some food.....

The grinding never ends....

In the tree of life, you leveled up by doing the chores that you want. But you only get some skill points, so don't waste it in some skill that you don't need. And that's also why you need a team mate... So you guys can divide all the chores in your camp.

I do have a guild... I do....

But my guild mates rarely online. So the base is mostly on me. And that's why my camp is growing really slow.... There are lots of new camps around me, and they already have a base bigger than me...

*sad

Ah...
It's so hard playing alone because you also have to make money! To pay the tax!
I thought I can make all money at once, and make the tree protect us for 1 year..... Turned out.... I can't. The Warden Tree can only accept the tax money when I only have 7 days of protection left.

I'll give some tips for you... DO NOT upgrade your warden tree if you play the game all by yourself and you're still poor..... Because the tax got more expensive. From 1 silver to 2.5 silver (I'm Broke).

Also~

If you still want to be safe on your island... DO NOT go to the outlaw area... Because once you step into the outlaw areas, your newbie title will be erased, and you can get killed easily by enemies.

And you also learn how to be patient....
Like in all online games. There are some A**holes!

They took down all the trees and never plant it back. Making my base like in a deserted area.
They also stole our belongings while we're renovating the camp.

So, Overall:

  • Graphics: It's cute, like luna online, even the zombies are not that scary.
  • Gameplay: Well... It's fun... But like I said, if you play the game by yourself, without team mates... The grinding is really exhausting. The in app purchases also really help you to get through the game... and it's really EXPENSIVE!
  • Connection:  I don't know, whether my laptop is not good enough, or their servers are not good enough. I play this without shadows and everything, but still lagging. I play rust faster than this.
  • Overall: If you like a harvest moon meet rust, where you can kill enemies. It's a game for you! Join another guild if you can't make a guild on your own. But be careful, some a**holes trying to steal your stuff by joining your guild.

You can find the game on Steam, and it's cheaper if you buy 4. So~ Ask your friends to join you in this journey! :p

PS: I'm opening my guild for Indonesian players! PLEASE HELP ME! QAQ

[Review] Beholder (Steam Games)

Accidentally looking at some steam sales and got curious with this game BEHOLDER.

Watching the trailer and screenshots from steam, I got hooked on the graphics and art but actually not expecting something impressive about the game.

Starting the game, they asked me to choose the difficulties.
Trainee mode or Government elite mode.
Because I underestimate the game, I think it's an easy game, so I chose Government Elite Mode.

It's a story about a family that moved to an apartment to manage it. The catch is, they HAVE TO spy at their tenants, to make sure they didn't do or have something illegal. Or, if you feel that you don't like the government, and trying to make some changes, you can start by helping the new order.

We are playing as Carl Stein, the father of the family. When we see some tenants having or doing something illegal, we can choose between reporting it to the government or blackmailing them. Sometimes the blackmailing thing is not going to work, when that happens, report them! (LOL)

You can also steal from their rooms. But be careful, if you take too many items, the government will come and have an inspection, and you will be punished.

There are lots of tenants that you can move in to. Every tenant, have their own background stories, something dirty, and problems. Some residents can help your life, and some will make your life miserable. Just be wise in choosing every answer.

Even some tenants will kill you if you're rude to them. Choosing the government elite mode for a newbie like me is a wrong choice itself... LOL

It's hard to make money and even harder to buy some things because everything is so expensive.
First time playing. I got my daughter died from illness, my wife killed in a riot and my son got taken away by the government. Not to mention that I got killed by a tenant.

  • Graphic: 8/10.  So simple yet artistic. I like this kind of graphic in games.
  • Music: 8/10.  The give me goosebumps and makes me feel like I'm in a country like Arstotzka (Paper Please)
  • Story 10/10. Every choice matters. And they have lots of different endings that makes this game more fun
  • Gameplay: 9/10. It's so simple yet so hard. you only need to use your mouse and WASD for the camera. It only lacks saving feature. They only have autosaves feature that makes you confuse when you want to load them. I think it's better if they also have a feature that we can save the game whenever we want.
  • Overall: TOTALLY RECOMMENDED. For people who want to pass their free time with a casual yet challenging game. And it's even worth every penny.

My battle with Acne!

In this blog, I will tell you about our common problems! ACNE! And how I get rid of it! I don't know whether it's suitable for your skin or not.

One thing for you to know.... is.... PATIENCE! nothing is instant!

PS : You will see my ugly face without make up + filter face here.......

***

My Skin

First of all, you have to know your skin. (Actually I don't know what type of skin I have until this day).

My face used to be free from any types of chemical or face products. To be honest, I'm so lazy, I only wash my face with water, never with face soap, or anything. I don't like wearing make up. I don't like face lotion, or anything like that.

But, I have a really fair skin. When I'm in high school, lots of my friends always asking me what kind or product did I use for my face. I always said "water".

When did the Acne started to show?

You have to answer this question, and you'll know why....

Until I was introduced with COSPLAY. It was when I was in last semester of my University. I was fascinated by cosplay. And as you know, we use MAKE UP! And also, while i'm in Bandung, I always eat unhealthy food. It's so different than in Tangerang. In Tangerang, I always bring food to my school. I even seldom eat fast food (except frozen nuggets). But in Bandung, I got addicted to KFC!!!! OMG!!!!

After my face got contaminated with make up, and i'm addicted to unhealthy street food, etc. Suddenly, I got acne. First, it's only one pimple.

and then, that one time, my friend brought me for a facial........ some pimple begin to pop out. DAMN!

Acne started to show... especially on my chin (until today, it's the spot that my acne will show up first)

My Mother took me to a skin doctor.

Yes, the doctor is GORGEOUS!! Her skin is so silky smooth that makes everyone jealous even though she's much older than you. She said that I have a REALLY SENSITIVE SKIN!

She recommends some treatments and cures (?).

So, I tried it, and my face was itchy.... really itchy... My father told me to stop it. but my mother told me to continue... Well, because my mother is a woman and of course I believe her more about beauty. I continue to use the products.... well, yes... My acne started to go away, and my skin feels smoother.

BUT! THE PROBLEM IS!

Everytime I forgot to use the products. My acne came back! As I wrote before.... I'M LAZY....

you have like 5 different products and 3 times a day.... and you have to do the treatments like once per month.... the hell.... I don't have that much money too!

I got more acne on my face... but still not that bad... coz I still am love to take a selfie

And my mother realize that I was lazy..... She bought me a face spray called KANGEN WATER!! Indonesian people should know it! It's so popular.... But I'm so suspicious.... But then again....... my mother told me to try it.... so I tried....

DON'T! JUST DON'T!!! Suddenly, my acne was bursting out everywhere!!! I'M AN UGLY DUCKLING!! OMG!!!

My mother said that it's common... it's detoxing....

acnes are popping out everywhere!!!! especially on my cheeks

after one month, it's getting worse and worse!!!! OKAY! ENOUGH!

so I stop and back to the doctor's regiment....

I think it got better a little bit......

But... I don't wanna get addicted to it... I want to break free from doctor's cream, etc.... I decided to stop and find some other way.... When I was using the doctor's cream, my skin is becoming oily... But When I stop using it, I have a slight dry skin... So I guess I have a MIXED type of skin?

Well, then I moved to Tangerang... Which is... worse than Bandung. The polution.... etc..
MORE ACNES POPPING OUT!!!!!!!

When I was in Tangerang, I didn't live in a condo or a penthouse or even a house... It was a small budget flat... which is really dirty... I can see cockroaches and fungus.... Not my best moment...

And so yeah... what am I expect........
My skin has worsen... This is the worse part of my life... I don't have any confidence to go out, even take a selfie...Even if I do take a selfie, I'll use lots of filters.... My confidence has going down the drain... Plus, I got bullied all the time when I meet with my family members "why ur face is so ugly?" | "why are you so dirty?", etc.. But I'm not giving up...

It's like hell for me... I don't wanna meet anyone....

What Should I do?

  • I tried to stop to put chemicals or things on my face
  • I started not to touch my face often, including only washing my face when I needed with a little bit of face foam
  • Started to drink lots of water
  • Avoid direct sun lights
  • Started to try a treatment that will not harm my skin
The first treatment that I tried.... is Face rejuvination from ZAP.....
It's kind of expensive. But the doctor said, that it will not harm my skin, because all it does is fastening the regeneration of my collagen and brightening the skin. But the doctor said that I should not do the other treatment due to my sensitive skin. So, I stick to Face Rejuve ONLY! And I apply for the package that will makes it cheaper and I can book my treatment rather than waiting in the clinic.

For the price right now, you can visit their website http://zapclinic.com/harga-photo-facial-treatment-zap

I got only approx. 1.2 million for 7 times face rejuve, so it's like 170/treatment.... Yes it's expensive, but worth a try....

1st time at ZAP

2nd time... still didn't see the difference

3rd time... almost giving up

4th time... I feel my pimples are almost gone, just some pimple mark

5th time .... getting there

6th time... Okay... finally... I feel the difference

7th time YASH!

PS : Sorry for my ugly faces~

Anyway... It didn't got better in a flash.. I go to zap like once every week for the first time.... and once every 2 weeks for the 4th time... I was also using their face soap... It makes your skin really dry, but I only use it once for a day.

But, yeah... I recommend this treatment if you have some money to spare. But, be patient, it will not gone only in one treatment.

This is what it looks like, so you can see the difference

I feel so happy that I didn't waste my money for nothing...

And right now, because I've moved to Malaysia... They don't have zap, and their treatments here are so expensive! So I 'm trying only to maintain what I have right now....

  • Drink lots of water
  • Wash ur face if needed (but only wash with soap once a day)
  • So far, it's good. I'm using Sekisei Powder wash...
  • And if my skin got really dry, I'm using ROC Hydra +
  • refrain to use make up other than lipstick, eyeliner, and eyebrow powder. So, no to bbcream, cccream, foundation, face powder, etc, if not necessary.
  • Minimizing eating deep fried food / street food
  • Consume vitamins
  • Try to eat vegetables
  • Still not using any Suncream... Because the doctor said, sun cream is the one that makes pimples popped out! But she said, I should find the suncream that soft to my skin. But still didn't find any... so I still didn't use any suncream right now.... But I still avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Don't pop your acne... If I got pimples here, I'm using acne patch so I can't harm my acne by scratching it, and it will be guarded from dusts, etc.

and, this is what I look like right now

Only some pimple marks that's hard to get rid of, because i'm not doing treatments

Some pimple marks

when I use full make up, it's all gone... but no... only once in a while

My daily make up.... No face powder....

Daily make up

PS: Nothing comes in an instant... I still have battle with some acne and acne marks... but so far, at least I got my confidence back!

Thank for reading... If you have any questions, feel free to write a comment bellow ^_^

[Review] KLCC Park and Aquaria Malaysia

I always like water and fishes. So, aquarium is one of the best places to go to. Yea... yea... i know... it's not good to take fishes to aquarium, not their natural habitat. But I don't have diving license. and I seldom go to the beach or places to go diving. I just want to believe that not all aquariums are harsh to fishes. *fingers crossed*

so, let's start!

How to go there

It's quite easy actually. If you have google maps, just search it! LOL (not helping)...

jk jk...

Okay, I like to use trains. so, find a train that is in Kelana Jaya Line LRT. Then just go straight to KLCC station. If you can't find the line. You can go to KL Sentral Station first, then change to a train that will go to Gombak. It's 5 stations from KL Sentral Station.

If it's too hard. I reccomend Uber or Grab (like in my other blogpost). To know which one is cheaper. check it with google maps........ Yeah.... Trust me... Google maps is the only thing you need... :p

After you've arrived at KLCC. I recommend you to go to Aquaria via KLCC Park. So you can take a picture with the TWIN TOWERS!!!!

KLCC Park

It's good to have a park in the middle of a town! Even though the weather is REALLY HOT! But walking in the park is kinda a little bit bearable for me (I hate hot weather).  It's too bad there are no Spring here :p

view from the park

park's map

a public pool, where you can enter the water

drinking fountain!!!!

dancing water
It's nice that the park has drinking water. benches, and an open small pool!! you can play water there!!!!!!

This park is a nice place to take a picture of the twin towers too!! Perfect spot for taking the picture is on the bridge!

After strolling at the park... You'll arive at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, where you'll reach your destination!

Enter the building, then go left until you see an escalator to go down. You'll arrive at the food court that has the AQUARIA!!!

The picture is not helping.....
You have to queue for the ticket, and please..... only 1 person queuing... The other please wait someplace else.

The admission fees are:

They do have promotions. Two of the promotions that maybe we have as an expat are : Maybank Card Promotion and Malindo Airline Ticket Promotion.

You can see other promotions here : http://aquariaklcc.com/promotions

Don't forget to check their feeding time, so at least you can watch something rare!

The Aquaria

I was there kinda late, so it was only piranha feeding time.

I saw some fascinating fishes or cute too! And of course, I gain some knowledge by reading the info!

OMG! THEY EXPEL THEIR INTERNAL ORGAN!!!!!!

Halp me ! i'm so tired in this aquarium!

WHY COCKROACH!!!!

  • The exhibit is kinda small, especially the tunnel
  • Not as big as the one I saw in Europe
  • Price is WHAAAAW! But, thank god i still can buy the fridge magnet :p
  • If you have never been to an aquaria before.... I kinda recommend it, because you can see lots of different sea animals! EVEN COCKROACHES!
  • Don't go here in weekends...... LOTS OF TOURISTS!!! and some of them are annoying.... (Examples : Pushing you, Children jumping on a wood floor so making loud noises)
